Raw Chocolate Mousse

Another mysterious raw dessert for you, how can they taste this decadent and dreamy but are chock full of healthy dried fruits, nuts and unprocessed sugars which are actually good for you. I feel you can eat them for breakfast, lunch and dinner because they are just so nutritious and healthy. And did I say yummy enough times?? This Chocolate mousse is such an easy treat it’s more than just something you eat as a substitute for the real thing. You can add more or less raw cacao powder depending on how dark you like your chocolate. This tastes divine and is pretty easy, try it!

Raw Chocolate Mousse

  • 10 large sticky dates pitted
  • 4 tablespoons of melted coconut oil
  • 5 large tablespoons of raw cacao powder or any really good quality cocoa
  • 1 large tablespoon of raw canadian maple syrup
  • Cup of water

Place all ingredients in a blender and half of the water, keep adding water until it resembles a chocolate ganache type texture. Needs to be really smooth so blend for ages!

Spoon into little pots, eat immediately or you can firm up to a more moussey texture in the fridge
